Originally painted using layer upon layer of Ranger alcohol inks on premium synthetic paper. This piece has personal, metaphorical meanings to me, but the imagery here depicts The Guardian. A Japanese dragon sent to protect The Three - variations of blossom tree that grow to sustain life. A Kami, seen here in the form of a powerful and violent storm threatens to destroy the trees and their harvest. The Guardian (ガーディアン) is called forth once more to rid the land of this new threat.
